Clearly, fate was testing him and Bucky was currently in no shape to resist a tempting invitation like that. So, with that same boldness that he swore belonged to the Soldier rather than himself, he reached out his right hand and gently began carding his fingers through Tony’s soft hair.

An on-the-run Winter Soldier stumbles across cat-Tony and takes care of him, not knowing that it’s Tony. Whether Tony realizes who the scruffy but kind man feeding him, petting him, and letting him sunbathe on the windowsill is, is up to you!
Tony finds he enjoys pets more than he should… Life with the former Winter Soldier is good. More than good. Fantastic even. After a while Tony stops trying to find a way to turn back, and just… embraces his new life of unconditional love.
